American Idol – Blake TOTALLY remixes Bon Jovi (video)

Ok I rocked to Bon Jovi… when I was 10. I was so not excited for this weeks american Idol (yes, I’m an Idol Addict) as it was rock week, Bon Jovi was the guest, and not a single rocker is left in the bunch. I was expecting a *yawn* boring, bad night. Turns out most did well with the exception of Jordan Sparks. She bombed, bad. But hey she’s 17 and nobody can say the girl can’t sign…. rock was just definetly not her thing.
 The real stand out was Blake Lewis. My 9 year old thinks he’s the coolest guy on the show. The little girls all love him and the little boys all want to be him. Lewis was a full-time musician who went by the stage name BShorty. He’s a beat box champ and former member of a cappella group M-Pact. So anyway…. he always does interesting “remixes” of songs, but as of late we haven’t REALLY seen him throw down the beat box skillz. This week however, that all changed… he took a very well known rock song and mashed the hell out of it. It was awesome. Seriously, if you didn’t know the words, you wouldn’t know it was the same song until he hit the chorus. Check it out:
