Holding out for a Sprint Touch Pro but just can’t afford the new-customer price of $299? Well, Amazon is running one heck of a fire-sale as you can now pick one up for the quite low price of $99! Of course, that is after a $100 mail-in-rebate. But still … with a point-of-purchase sale of

The advertisement wars are really heating up, with Microsoft going on the full assault against Apple with several TV advertisements. I think the latest round of Microsoft ads are probably the only really affective ads we’ve seen since Windows 95. It’s about time too, because Apple has been mocking Microsoft with its “I’m a PC”

Seems like Microsoft might *cough* FINALLY be getting some advertising right. Microsoft’s latest Laptop Hunters ad follows a mom and her kid. Lisa and Jackson say they need a computer which is “fast” because they need to “look up stuff” before they “get to baseball.” (uh… ok) They have a a sub-$1500 budget. Somewhere in

You can personalize your operator name on the HTC Touch Pro with a handy little program made by a craft fellow over at XDA. It’s been said to work on all Windows Mobile devices but definetely works on HTC. It was made by a developer at xda-developers called NP9660. Download the cab file here. Install

Revolvingdork laser-etched the top of his Eee PC with the complete level maps of Super Mario Land (on the Game Boy). Everything from the familiar layouts of 1-1 to the climactic battle with Tatanga in the clouds at the end of 4-3 is represented in the etching. I just bought my kid an Eee PC

Supposedly the images below represent the 2009 line-up of HTC devices coming out. Of note are the Sprint HD Pro ( Tungsten W), VZW HD Pro (Rhodium W) & the Sprint Jasper. The posters of at PPCGeeks suspect that the Jasper will be the first HTC Android phone for the Sprint network… looks like I
