How to Create Events on Google+

If you’re used to leveraging Facebook to coordinate events, or if you’re an event promoter who has started using Google Plus, you might be scratching your head on how you can manage events on Google+. Google+ doesn’t have a baked in events functionality yet. However, it’s still pretty easy to create events and then invite your Google+ circles to them, or even make them public for the world to see.

This is a hack method at best… but until a full fledged API is released for GooglePlus this seems to be the best(only?) method for integrated GCal and GPlus events.

Google+Tweet: Display Twitter Streams in Google+

Wow that was fast… no more did we get Google+Facebook which lets you see your Facebook stream inside Google+ but now Google+Twitter comes at us providing the same for your Twitter stream.

Is it just me or does it feel like Google+ could be my central hub? I wonder when Google+Reader integration will show up?

Google+Facebook: Display Facebook Streams In Google+

So… now the only reason I have to go to Facebook is to play Cityville right? (at least until Zynga gets it up and running with Google).

Google+Facebook allows you to see your Facebook stream inside Google+. Simply Connect to Facebook, and get all the updates on your Google+ Facebook tab.

Google is currently testing their latest attempt at breaking into social networking: Google Plus. Even though the service is in it’s infancy 3rd party developers are already unleashing extensions to enhance it.

Google has internally dogfooded the application (really it’s several applications loosely tied together) and and are now extensively testing it with a limited number of users. There’s isn’t a public API available to developers yet but that hasn’t slowed down developers who are already busy developing extensions and add-ons to enhance features. Google Calendar and GMail Getting Makeover: Plus Style

As news of Google+ began unleashing on the web Google also started pushing out redesigns of a few of the flagship applications to bring them in line with the styling of Google+. The redesigned applications are, at least for the moment, “just cosmetic.” Google hasn’t added any new features to Calendar or GMail, but instead has made it look more like Google+.
