I found this over at dmiessler.com and it’s hilarious in light of the whole “socialist” push the McCain campaign is waging against Obama. Jesus was too liberal and socialist… he couldn’t win against John McCain.

An open letter to the American people by some of the brightest minds in the world. A very poignant message.

In yesterday’s YouTube video posted by Marty Chalfie, he referred to the fact that all three science Laureates for 2008 had endorsed Obama. Now it is official. From the Obama campaign; “With one voice, 65 of the nation’s greatest minds, the largest number of Nobel Laureates to ever endorse a political candidate for office, have encouraged the American public to vote Obama on November 4th.”

I’m unsure why anyone would want someone who appeals more to “Joe 6 Pack” to lead the country than the brightest minds in our nation.

To quote Tim Robbins on the Daily Show, while sighing: “Could we just have a smart President for once? Just this time?”
