I hate the English system of measurement. I was part of the failed experiement of moving to metric in the US school system. As a result I started learning the English system, then switched to metric, and then back again to English. I can’t read an English ruler to save my life. In the metric system things make sense, are easy to add, divide, etc… WHY OH WHY have we not converted to it? The rest of the world has:
