Pingdom breaks down the traffic numbers from the 26 top Social Networking sites and show that… Facebook is crushing all their competition.

Pingdom took it’s numbers right from Google Trends for Websites and studied around 150 different sites for potential inclusion. Summarized in the chart above, they found 26 sites with more than 1 million daily unique visitors. The result are no surprise but when viewed in that chart one thing is clear, Facebook is the 800lb gorilla in the social media world. Google+ isn’t included because they’re stats aren’t available via Google Trends for Websites. Google claims to have 75m daily unique visitors though, which is still small potatoes compared to 600m.
