Google Play – Now You Can Update and Uninstall Apps Remotely

June 28, 2012 by Paul Spoerry Leave a Comment

Now you can uninstall and update your Android apps remotely right from your web browser.

Google Play Remote Update And UnInstall

Google quietly updated the Google Play Web Store and it will not let you update and uninstall applications on your phone remotely from your web browser.

It’s simple to get to your apps by logging in to the Google Play store and then clicking on My Android Apps. Once you get there you will see all the devices connected to your account as well as a list of the apps are installed on each one of them. If an update is available you can click the update button and remotely push the update to your phone. Alternatively, if you want to get rid of an app just click the trash button next to it to uninstall them. It certainly is a welcome change and makes managing the apps on your phone easier.
