The application LogsProvider (process com.sec.android.provider.logsprovider) has stopped unexpectedly.

Weekend Android fixer lightening post!

The application LogsProvider (process com.sec.android.provider.logsprovider) has stopped unexpectedly

If you randomly run across this crazy error I hope this helps you fix it quickly. I hadn’t touched my phone in a while when a call came in from a buddy of mine. I went to answer the phone and the message “The application LogsProvider (process com.sec.android.provider.logsprovider) has stopped unexpectedly.” popped up. I dismissed the error and two-three seconds later it popped back up. It continued to do this, essentially making my Android un-usable. It turns out the fix it pretty easy; though with the dialog popping up so frequently it took longer to get to it than I’d hoped.

To resolve it: From your homescreen click menu, then Settings, Applications, Manage Applications. This screen will have tabs running across the top, click the ALL tab. Then scroll down to LogsProvider, select the app, then Force Stop and Clear Data. After that you should be good to go.

Intente con la opcion sugerida y funcionaba a medias, despues me pasaron esta que dejo mi teléfono funcionando a la perfeccion, se las comparto por si les pasa, a mi me salvo mis contactos, y mucho tiempo y estres

    Turn off the phone.
Boot in recovery mode (holding volume up key + home key + power button at same time).
Choose the fourth option “wipe cache partition” (using the volume keys to select option and then Home button to excecute).
Allow to reboot normally and problem solved.
