I’m a groovy cat who’s into technology, Eastern Thought, and house music. I’m a proud and dedicated father to the coolest little guy on the planet (seriously, I'm NOT biased). I’m fascinated by ninjas, the Internet, and anybody who can balance objects on their nose for long periods of time.
I have a utility belt full of programming languages and a database of all my knowledge on databases... I practice code fu. Oh, I've also done actual Kung Fu, and have a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
I run. I meditate. I dance. I blog at PaulSpoerry.com, tweet @PaulSpoerry, and I'm here on Google+.
I'm currently work for IBM developing web enabled insurance applications for IBM and support and develop a non-profit called The LittleBigFund.

Congratulations +Hobby Lobby… never EVER EVER going into your store EVER. I hope millions of others do the same.
I don't see what the problem is.. if you need your employer to pay for your IUD or birth control pills, find another job!!
+Mary J B Here I don't know if you've been watching the news for the last decade, but jobs aren't exactly plentiful in our current economy – more so jobs with decent health insurance.
Paul, be nice, I just gave my opinion. I was unemployed for two months last year for no reason of my own. I am aware of the current economics of our country.
+Mary J B Here Sorry – I'm not trying to be mean. It's simply that "just get another job" is a solution for a market we haven't been in for a long time (as you may painfully be aware of).
Having said that – even if we were in a strong economy with a vibrant job market, I find that sort of idea also fails to address the badly broken healthcare environment that's existed in our country even during economic upticks. But that could be an entirely different, albeit related, rabbit hole.
h/t to +Thomas Wrobel for this: "Hobby Lobby invests in plenty of the same products they refuse to cover anyway;
http://www.forbes.com/sites/rickungar/2014/04/01/hobby-lobby-401k-discovered-to-be-investor-in-numerous-abortion-and-contraception-products-while-claiming-religious-objection/ "
They invest in the companies that make the products that they argue is so against their religious beliefs that they shouldn't have to cover it. That's outrageously hypocritical. Women should be outraged.
Not outraged, although your point has some merit.
I pay for my own insurance.
In this day and age, any kind of health insurance coverage should be greatly appreciated.
