Well, even if it were. It won't do anything except attract law enforcement and encourage them to focus on it since all Android L owners "..must be hiding something".
Are any of you already using the Encrypt Device feature?
I activated it before I did a factory restore on my last phone before I sold it. Some devices, a factory restore will leave stuff around so if you sell it, it's possible someone could still get data off of it. If you encrypt before you factory reset that ability goes away.
But, you're not using it "in production" on your daily driver?
No, I'm not.
