Conspiracy theorists are all so dumb that I suspect they've been planted by a secret organization to distract us from what’s really going on.

Sounds legit!
Ha!
"Conspiracy" is just another word for something people don't want to see.
Unless you believe that buildings melt on their own, singular bullets defy the laws of physics, or there is wind on the moon; you're likely one of us.
Found one! ^^^^
+John Coons Good job, little johnny. You get a gold star.
Now, maybe turn that attention towards the world around you. Complacency is hardly something to be proud of.
Hmmm, making logical leaps about things (or people) you don't know anything about. How very….conspiracy theorist of you!
+John Coons I think the word you're looking for is conspirtorial. You have removed my need to assume.
Nope. Your context makes no sense. I'm comparing you to mouth breathing conspiracy theorists, not suggesting you're conspiring against me.
Sick burn though.
+John Coons Yet, you only serve to highlight your own stupidity. Those who are quick to point fingers at others usually have something to prove themselves.
If our so-called "conspiracies" are so ridiculous, why do you care?
Those who ask the question eventually find the answer.
Those who don't ask only assume to know the answer.
I'd rather ask stupid questions than be stupid, but you do whatever you want.
I care because you clowns and the religious nutters are holding back civilization with your wild eyed bullshit.
Conspiracies exist. Poorly educated movements like the truthers are not the ones to unearth them.
"Conspiracy theorists are all so dumb that I suspect they've been planted by a secret organization to distract us from what’s really going on"
Thats what THEY want you to think!
AW SNAP! YOU'RE RIGHT +Thomas Wrobel!
Also MythBusters totally busted the flag thing +Daniel Carelli: http://mythbustersresults.com/nasa-moon-landing but I'm with you on the single bullet theory.
+Paul Spoerry Fair enough, the flag's not a great example. (Not sure I buy the "inertia" explanation, but that's neither here nor there.) The crosshairs in the video frequently moving behind the subjects on video is a better example.
Either way, I'm hardly saying every conspiracy theory has merit, but many do; and to simply discount them all offhand is a little shortsighted.
It's not like we don't have a pretty solid historical precedent for governments lying to people or anything… 😛 I'd rather be too skeptical than too trusting of what I'm told.
Being skeptical is awesome. Everyone should be. That's not really the point here.
like this
A) This was meant to be a joke.
2) Governments and corporations have always lie to the people.Look at lead as one example. It's danger was continuously buried (once by Coolidge even) and not outright banned until 1986 in the US *1986*
C) That said, there is a shitton of crackpot stuff (fluoride as mind control in the water) out there as well.
+Paul Spoerry I'm well aware it was a joke, I was attempting to joke back. Your friend who is now blocked took it a little too seriously for his own good.
The trick with conspiracies is applying critical thinking. To simply accept them as truth is just as ridiculous to me as blindly believing whatever the news media throws at you.
Whether one is examining an official story, or a conspiracy theory, one has to apply reason and logic to determine if the facts support the claim. If not, throw it out with the trash.
it makes sense but its hurting to process
Haha. The nutbag I called out deleted and bailed. Boosh must have gotten to him!
I just wish conspiracy theorists would come up with original ones.
+Thomas Wrobel Well……save for the illuminati morons, most conspiracy theorists don't "come up" with conspiracies. They arise out of conflicting information.
If, for example, a school blows up and we are told it was "bombed" many people might just accept that as fact without evidence. Those who are labeled as "conspiracy theorists" are the ones who look for that evidence, and attempt to confirm that it was in fact a bomb. If those people do not find evidence it was a bomb, or worse find evidence to contradict that it was a bomb, a "conspiracy theory" is born.
People didn't "come up" with theories about 9/11; people recognized that the evidence doesn't support the official story in many ways. The opinions of experts in their field contradict the official story given to us my media and government officials, and thus people feel it worth questioning the validity of the story in light of conflicting evidence.
That happens, it is not done.
For another example, if you came home from work to find your house was a giant pile of rubble; and the police told you that a tree fell on your house, would you not look for evidence of tree branches? If you didn't see any, had no trees on your property, and neighbors said they didn't see a tree, wouldn't that lead you to question what you had been told?
It's really not that far out of normal logistical reasoning.
The difference between questioning a told story and a conspiracy theory is much more simple; A conspiracy theory doesn't ask a question – it proposes an answer.
So, for example, "why don't we see stars in these images" becomes the answer "the moon landing was filmed on a sound stage".
The 9/11 truthers "conflicts" of "evidence" meanwhile consist of misunderstandings of physics. "experts" are very selective and the conspiracy theory only works as long as every other expert can be dismissed. Much like climate change denile. Cant just be the American scientists lying – has to be a worldwide conspiracy.
The moonlandings have also moved into this terrority now theres pictures of the landing site from other space agencies.
The idea of one group hiding something is plausible when theres motivation to do it.
The idea of many groups/countries/political parties who would normally not collaborate closely working together, however, moves into David Icke territory.
Anyway, heres some of the more interesting conspiracies.
This guy thinks the world doesn't move around the sun;
http://www.atlanteanconspiracy.com/2011/11/earth-is-not-moving.html
Nicely, he actually tries to address criticism in the comments and mostly isn't rude. You can see his position getting more and more hard to keep up though.
+Thomas Wrobel Your definition of the concept is inaccurate. The term is defined as "a theory that explains an event or situation as the result of a secret plan by usually powerful people or groups."
Your claim that all conspiracy theories simply propose an answer without basis behind it is demonstrably false. The reasoning and explanation behind conspiracy theories are widely available for those who wish to investigate them.
It would be more apt to say that a conspiracy theorist would ask why the crosshairs on the moon landing camera sometimes appear behind objects which are being filmed. An "answer" would not be proposed until a lack of credible explanation is found to validate the official story. To say the video was faked is not to claim we never landed on the moon. Those are entirely different things.
To claim that 9/11 theories are based on a "misunderstanding of physics" is also patently false. It sounds like you haven't done the slightest bit of research into those theories, to be quite honest. Please, oh wise one, explain to me what Physics has to do with a building going into uncontrolled and symmetrical free-fall without being struck by a single blast or piece of a plane. Countless demolitions and architectural experts have said this is impossible without controlled demolition.
Please explain how Physics has anything to do with the fact that fuel-fires can not reach the temperatures required to melt solid steel, and even computer simulations have been unable to replicate the supposed "true story" given the evidence. Countless experts have also pointed out the impossibility of this, and yet you discount them for what reason?
How does Physics explain how a simple fire would propel chucks of debris blocks away from the site without explosions? Oh. That's right. It doesn't.
There are countless items of interest concerning the official story which are directly contradictory to the laws of physics themselves, so for your to brush them aside is absurd. I do not simply choose not to believe the official explanation because it's fun, I do not believe it because the facts do not support it, and they have failed to reconcile that issue. The arguments against the official 9/11 story are based on the laws of physics, not against them.
Emergency responders who were there have reported blasts in lobbies, the discovery of liquified steel days after the attack, and have confirmed that Thermite was discovered not only at ground-zero, but on the streets and roofs of the surrounding blocks. I will usually give the opinions of experts more weight than the opinions of newscasters, government officials, and uninformed strangers on the internet.
Especially when those people have no credible evidence to support their own claims of how things went down. Given that the vast majority of the official reports are classified, and the parts that are not are physically impossible, I'm going to go ahead and say they have not done that.
Let me understand this,, so critical thinkers are dumber than people who don't think and believe everything there told. Um so being gullible means your smart, OK what ever u tell me I believe.
I'm speechless… this post is just so munt, that i have no word to describe this mass consentual brainwashing.
War is Peace, Slavery is freedom, Deceit is Truth, & Ignorance is Strength
+V-Men this post is a conspiracy theory. No ones telling you what to do, It is a joke.
LOL
+Lala Ishurt where's the joke? or are you seeing another reality other than the one presently dining your senses
+Jaya Sri-Radhe The word is comfortable. It is comfortable not to question what one believes to be truth, lest they find out they believe a lie.
Better, I think, to ask a question and be proven wrong than never to ask it at all.
+Daniel Carelli Good one, i also call it complacency… it has a wide array of counterpart dictionary friends. Such as apathy, selfishness, vanity so on so forth.
"you are free to do what we tell you
"you are free to do what we tell you
"you are free to do what we tell you"
Bill Hicks'
I agree that they're dumb… but isn't what you just said a conspiracy theory?
"Conspiracy theorists are all so dumb that I suspect they've been planted by a secret organization to distract us from what’s really going on."
Full definition of conspiracy theory according to Merriam Webster dictionary: a theory that explains an event or set of circumstances as the result of a secret plot by usually powerful conspirators
This post is a conspiracy because it is someone explaining an event (the existence of conspiracy theorists) as the result of a secret organization.
+Jaya Sri-Radhe I am confused about your use of the word "dinning." According to Merriam Webster the only definition of dine is "to take dinner" such as "I will be dinning alone tonight."
so how does a world "take dinner" my senses?
BTW I spelled "dinning" wrong. It is dining but the definition stands. Also I forgot to add quotation marks around my first quote from the dictionary, but please note that it is a direct quote.
+Lala Ishurt you (the soul) are dining on your senses of this body
Your ears want to hear nice words, your tongue wants nice food, your eyes want to see beautiful things and the sense of touch wants to feel nice things.
Thanks for that clarification, I hope I also answered your question.
I would judge events using insights that i digest. A mix of information between conspiracists and main stream media is a nice combination to start with. Ultimately, the one that profits from a certain event provides the strongest clue.
What's really going on??
That looks like the guy from endevour….
Um…. NO… That is not what happened…..
I was not planted, I just don't trust the government that does not trust me with a firearm.
That's what they want you to think…

They way I saw what was deemed "conspiracy theories," were government cover ups. Every time it was a mafia hired hit, or someone in a high office being exposed, then suddenly any mention of it was deemed to be a wild conspiracy theory, and it worked to stop investigations into every mafia crime family in the US. So now, this secret big group controlling everything now has a new way to pass off their actions when being exposed, in order to discredit the story exposing them, as now being dubbed a conspiracy. So, other than the mafia hired hits, the body counts, it is just business as usual, as were all supposed to scoff at these "conspiracies." Meanwhile, that secret group, now owns more than ever, has taken over almost ALL federal, state, and local law enforcement, owns almost all the major corporations, now owns all major media outlets, and this mafia group has people like you to thank for their now ever-growing power and wealth. All the public has to do is act like any actions that these individuals are caught doing are just wild conspiracy stories, not worth investigating, and said accusations considered laughable… Our mafia infested government thanks you guys, as you have been such a big help to them [sarcasm intended].
+Paul Hopkins do you confess to this.?
Planted by a secret organization? You mean one or more persons conspired to plant conspiracy theorists to distract us. That's a conspiracy dumb dumb.
