Can anyone help?
Despite being the only account that meets the requirements for the +PaulSpoerry custom URL it keeps telling me I have to add numbers or something. I've been on here since early beta, and I actually think at least one of the people that show up is an old account of mine. sigh
Based on the Eligibility Requirements set out by G+ here: https://support.google.com/plus/answer/2676340?hl=en I'm the only person who meets the following requirements:
For individual users:
* Ten or more followers
* Account is 30 days old or more
* Profile includes profile photo
Any help would be awesome.

Hey +Paul Spoerry if you are not happy accepting the URL offered then do not accept it and submit feedback with a few suggested urls. Press @ outside of a text area to activate the feedback system or you can find the link at the bottom of the home menu.

I have sent feedback +John Elstone but I think it just goes off into the ether. The appropriate URL would be my name… given I'm the only one that meets Google's own criteria for having that URL.

+Paul Spoerry I'm afraid feedback is the only method for custom url issues. There are another 3 Paul Spoerry's on Google+ (though they appear to be dead profiles) https://plus.google.com/s/Paul%20Spoerry/people
Having 4 people with the same name may be enough to trigger the add additional characters dialogue. If one of those profiles is linked to a Google for Work account then they tend to get priority over url selection.
If any of those profiles could be yours then you would be best trying to regain access and deleting them.
If they are not your profiles then all I can suggest is to submit feedback again, providing the urls to the other profiles and explain that these appear to be inactive and that you would like +PaulSpoerry applied to your profile and draw attention to your activity level and number of followers.
Save it all in a doc, and keep submitting monthly.

I've tried it before but sadly, and this is the case with many Google-y things, sending feedback doesn't mean anybody will response. I'd PAY for support if I could!
