I’m a groovy cat who’s into technology, Eastern Thought, and house music. I’m a proud and dedicated father to the coolest little guy on the planet (seriously, I'm NOT biased). I’m fascinated by ninjas, the Internet, and anybody who can balance objects on their nose for long periods of time.
I have a utility belt full of programming languages and a database of all my knowledge on databases... I practice code fu. Oh, I've also done actual Kung Fu, and have a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
I run. I meditate. I dance. I blog at PaulSpoerry.com, tweet @PaulSpoerry, and I'm here on Google+.
I'm currently work for IBM developing web enabled insurance applications for IBM and support and develop a non-profit called The LittleBigFund.

Unfortunately Google+ has stopped.
Stopped what +David Ford? Design changes? Those design changes slow down mods I have to make for my Post Editor for Google+ extension so unless it's needed, I'm good with it standing still: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/post-editor-for-google%20/canbakmdapinjpiabkbdgmpenllifmij ;O)
that's sarcasm. the google+ app crashes a lot. usually after your fone or tablet sleeps and wakes up with a different wifi connection.
Ah… I browse sometimes on my phone but I mostly use it on my pc or Chromebook.
Google should maybe try working on their Android tools first. They flat out don't work. I know it's not the same team, but still. They should be ashamed. Makes me really hesitant to rely on anything else they produce.
You mean Android Studio +Scott Duensing ? I don't think I ever played with it. I messed about in Eclipse but.. well Eclipse is Eclipse. After living in Visual Studio for years Eclipse seems janky.
Studio doesn't even have NDK support, so it's a non-option. I don't mind Eclipse itself so much anymore. Whatever they've done, it had issues parsing or indexing C and C++ code. It will tell you something is undefined and mark it with the annoying red squiggle underline. However, it'll compile fine. And if you right-click the "undefined" symbol and ask to see the definition, it'll take you right to it. It's maddening!
