I then went to Basic School, OCS, preflight, etc. before before becoming an Aviator for the AV-8B. I am now training on the F-35 and slated to fly the it off of LHA-6. Following retirement, I plan to get a job with an airline: military pilots are almost certain to be accepted as commercial pilots.
I truly have to wonder what your level of education is if you are so horribly misinformed about the role of the military in recruits' and veterans' educations, as well as your misconceptions about the mental heath of said people.
As for self-esteem, you need it to get in to begin with, and killing unarmed civilians is strictly forbidden.
