In other words… how to see letters as certain colors. I soooo want to try this.
An unexpected benefit to learning synesthesia, the participants found, was a sharply rising IQ level. Study volunteers registered a stunning twelve point increase on IQ exams while a control group, who was not taught synesthesia, registered no increase. Olympia Colizoli of the University of Amsterdam, who led one study in which synesthesia was taught under laboratory conditions, said that "people with spontaneous synaesthesia also have better memories for information relating to their mixed-up senses," perhaps accounting for the apparent rise in IQ.
This isn't the ONLY kind of synaesthesia and neuroscientist David Eagleman (BTW his book is excellent) explains more in this YouTube video from BigThink: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FTr1VnXKr4A

#Synesthesia can also be a sign of schizophrenia and other brain related diseases. #BiologicalPhyschology

I borned with these skills and until recently (10 years about) i thought every body had those skills too. Every thing i see, my thoughts or feelings too when i'm doing something or when i used to dance steps and space or when i meet someone, every thing has a colored, even an activity i do, has sometimes colored shapes or movements in the air as éléments that are mine
Each colors or mixed colors is a special meaning that gives me references on thing to put and take back on my shelves library in my brain.
Indeed, i organize every activity by color on my diary depending activity and chronology.
Isn't weird?
Well +Le Mont Bennett is scaring me!

+Fratani Marie-Noelle identifying things with another sense, like color coded visual educational tools, is use of #synesthesia. However, when someone's senses are tied into a secondary sense, that is synesthesia.
Some Examples:
Seeing sounds
Hearing the way things feel
Feeling the way things taste
Like I said, synesthesia can be sign of, not necessarily is. There are people with synesthesia who lead functioning lives and are happy.
This article is more about using more than one sense to perceive, process and store information.

Well i survived till now with it without being sick, i wasn't really scared +Le Mont Bennett i don't know if i'm seing sounds but when i was a profesionnal dancer every body says i had a quick memory of choregraphy and always in tempo however i know i don't remember notes to sing. In fact the colors were on steps, movements and rythmes all toguether.
