This is a massively important case that could have far reaching implications. The very notion of privacy on the Web could be eroded over time. Microsoft believes that, “When one government wants to obtain email that is stored in another country, it needs to do so in a manner that respects existing domestic and international laws.” I for one agree… and I'm glad a company with deep pockets will be under fire as this might set a dangerous precedent.
