Both paid and free users will be able to access music from their own collection and play up to 50,000 songs. The ad-supported version is intended to help expose consumers to its service, with the goal of converting users to the paid version so they can access content offline, create their own playlists and, of course, stream music without interruption.

I've been waiting for this. 🙂
I've been subscribed for what feels like at least a year (probably more). I'm not sure when it started, it was that long ago. Only music service I use.
This is for free streaming radio vs. premium subscription. It was just introduced today.
Yes, and I've been subscribed to the premium for 1+ years. Play Music is the only music service I use.
I was a subscriber for a while. The only reason I switched was because Spotify has a Playstation app, and the Google music app didn't support external card storage for downloads. I don't know if that has changed. I'm sure the new free service will steal a few Spotify and Pandora users.
I'm a subscriber and I dig it. I don't have a Playstation so I can't comment on their apps. I have an XBox One with a Chromecast plugged into the TV-in port. So I just load this up, say 'XBox, watch TV', and it'll stream flawlessly to that. I've tried several times to get into Spotify, it's my gals platform of choice, but for some reason the UI never felt like it made sense to me.
I need to get Chromecast. I don't know why I haven't, considering the price.
I agree on the Spotify UI… it's like the devs couldn't decide where they wanted to put things.
+Paul Spoerry i think anything can easily take on Spotify's radio
