Maybe the screemo guy can yell at her and make her eat. I mean seriously, I want to say she's adorable and whatnot but I can't. All I can do is think to myself how I'd have to hold her, very gently because she looks crazy frail, and tell her "just one more bite, you can do it" all the while in the back of my head knowing that she was just going to dump me and then write a song about our breakup and make another bajillion dollars and complain about artists not making enough off Spotify and… holy shit… she's actually Metallica undercover as a pop artist! THAT'S WHY THE LYRICS WORK!
Oh and the only part of this cover I take offense with is them calling it 'Punk'. WTF?! Otherwise… nicely done +IPrevailBand

Hmm … Well, the lyrics totally work. It's a very dark song, sung from a place of abandonment, with sardonic humor. But more to the point, the bones of the original arrangement presuppose this treatment — it's just a drum track, low power chords, and disposable ornamentation. So the most shocking (and, I think, amusing) thing about this rendition is the use of the death-metal voice after the first verse and bridge).
What does +Taylor Swift think?

The screamo dude… Doesn't that have to hurt his throat?
John Jainschigg says
Gots to … I have no clue how that vocalization is done. But it's definitely a thing.
Brian Hartman says
I'm guessing that the voice of the "screamer" is computer-augmented.
At least, I hope so…
Paul Spoerry says
Not from what those who I know that know what Screamo is (I didn't/don't)… apparently they just yell that way and it's an entire genre of music (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screamo). According to Wikipedia it's influenced by punk (which might explain why they said it's a punk version shrug).
