Hillary: I Can Manage Your Condescension and My Notes at the Same Time, Thanks

October 22, 2015 by Paul Spoerry 86 Comments

Republicans insist this inquiry isn’t about politics or Clinton’s email… but let's all do a Republican chant anyway. I'll start: Benghazi, Benghazi, Benghazi! +Mashable compiled the top five quotes that prove Clinton's Benghazi hearing was all about politics.

I think my favorite part is summarized by the Washington Post (http://goo.gl/khDFOQ) in reference to Rep. Peter J. Roskam (R-Ill.) who twice offered to stop talking so Hillary Clinton could look at her notes during the Benghazi hearing Thursday.

“I can pause while you’re reading your notes from your staff,” he said.

Clinton replied that she can “do more than one thing at a time, Congressman. Thanks.” mic drop

This “Benghazi interrogation” is just a politically motivated witch hunt. Conservative Republicans are dishonoring the memories of those 4 dead people by turning this into a partisan witch hunt for political gain. That's the real scandal.

  2. Terry Hucks says

    October 22, 2015 at 5:34 pm

are you blind to the fact that they asked for help and the help was turned back and then sent out again after they were already dead!! What in the world is wrong with you…this is a matter of right and wrong! Integrity…remember that word! She has none. Along with most to the politician's in Washington…

  7. Dean Barnett says

    October 22, 2015 at 6:01 pm

Congress has been investigating the Benghazi tragedy for 33 months.

No indictments. No arrests. No prosecutions. No convictions. No sentences.

Either you have to appeal to a higher level conspiracy theory – for which there is exactly as much evidence as there is for criminal culpability in the Benghazi tragedy – or it's time to admit this witch hunt has been pointless all along.

  8. Jon Robb says

    October 22, 2015 at 6:03 pm

Republicans are incapable of admitting when they're wrong or out of line, they just lie their way deeper and deeper.

  9. George Rapko says

    October 22, 2015 at 6:05 pm

She clearly violated the law on protecting classified information too, but they didn't arrest or charge her for that either. Just because they took no action yet, doesn't mean they won't.

  10. Lauren Ferrera says

because president change his words came out explaining as 'spontanious flare ups…when in fact Benghazi was attacted by a group like ISIS ..too many lies …..and Hilary backed him

  11. Tony Cornell says

  12. Paul Rumelhart says

What about those emails turned in at the last minute that show that she never thought it was caused by a video (when she told the people it was for weeks on end), or the emails from the Ambassador asking for more security personnel? Is that something we should be concerned about? I can't tell anymore. It pisses me off, but nobody else seems to give a fuck.

The tragedy is that the Republicans doing the questioning were so compromised by the party's insistence on politicizing absolutely everything, that they could have evidence that Hillary Clinton personally ordered a hit on those four, and no one will believe them other than people who have already given up critical thinking as a bad idea and a ploy to inculcate liberal doctrine. You folk who are Republican supporters, please get them to behave in way that give them any credibility whatsoever, so that if they do come up with something of substance, it won't be waved away as RWNJ ass-hattery, which is really all I can conclude anymore, as it's all we've seen since 2009.

  18. Ken Watson says

  40. Edward Hill says

  42. Jimi Best says

You know… for all the scrutiny regarding her communication with Blumenthal, why do the republicans keep voting to keep it secret? If its as incriminating as they think it is, why not release it?

  43. Luis Rosales says

    October 22, 2015 at 11:11 pm

I think the issue about Benghazi is really just a small part of a bigger scandal. A scandal that has both the republicans and democrats at each others throats when they were both involved and perpetuated it. There were many failed attempts from JFK to Ron Paul in attempting to quell this behemoth but the military industrial complex is strong.

Truth be told, we should be aware that both the dems and the reps are in on it. Instead of worrying about terrible foreign policy we should find a more economical approach with less violence. At home we should remove these victimless crimes, http://goo.gl/xZ2AjF . They only cause more harm than good and today the tension is high for a reason.

  44. West Kagle says

    October 23, 2015 at 3:06 am

    Look at her smug face.
"Yeah, a bunch of nobodies got killed on my watch……yeah, I kept state docs on my private server (and then destroyed some of said docs), which is actually treason (never mind the whole 'it's against government protocol to keep them on a private server' thing, that doesn't even register, (if I thumb my nose at the treason thing, you think I care about standard procedures). So F**KING what. I'm god-damm Hillary Frigen' Clinton. You can't touch me. I'm better than all you c**ts."
God….I hate that waste of human DNA. I would rather they dug up Irma Grese and made her POTUS. She would at least be more human than this callous cackling crank.

…..sorry 'bout the language Paul….I just get nauseous at the mention of madam bottom-feeder.

  45. Christopher Bartlett says

    October 23, 2015 at 6:55 am

    +West Kagle
Here's the problem right here on display. The allegations on this post are just incorrect. Treason has a specific definition, it's not just being someone you loathe. It involves the specific betrayal of the United States to its enemies, not simply being better at the game than her prosecutors.
I imagine your frustration as it becomes more and more clear that those you hoe would sink her have instead simply added to her electability.
And by the way, I'm no Hillary lap dog, I'd love to see her go down in the primary. What I am is a member of the Loyal Opposition, someone who believes that the health of government is not something uniquely to be protected or damaged by one party or another. I oppose many things the Obama administration and Secretary Clinton have done, but I am loyal in that opposition, opposing the policy, not trying to destroy the government that acted to make it happen.
Republican bomb throwers need to learn this. I hope y'all nominate the most destructive candidate you can, and that he gets destroyed at the polls. Maybe then you'll learn that most of us think you are insane, even if we agree that what the dems are doing isn't working.

  46. Brian Killian says

    October 23, 2015 at 7:09 am

The FBI shoe is about to drop. She clearly lied about the video and failed to answer regarding the cover up.

  47. Antonio DeAguiar says

    October 23, 2015 at 8:48 am

+Edward Hill Well, if you watched the questioning, Hillary avoided answering the questions directly and instead went off on a tangent to say something instead of answering the questions. The purpose of the inquiry is to determine what happened to avoid repeating the senseless loss of life because proper protection was not provided.
Anyone that would still vote for Hillary who thinks she is above the Law, and policies of the administration and is not fit to be a leader, is just a pure die-hard democrat without any convictions and sensibilities. Her actions are those of a devious highly political person with something to hide. Why else would she use a private server, keep the content from being public, use lawyers to avoid self-incrimination, and have emails deleted?

  48. Brian Killian says

    October 23, 2015 at 9:06 am

  49. West Kagle says

Dude. Look it up. The act of withholding and/or destroying of official governmental docs is considered an act of treason (and BTW, prohibits this scum-sucker, from ever holding public office again (elected or appointed). If you really need. I'll dig it up and attempt to post a link (I seem to be having an issue with copy and pasting to YouTube comments and sometimes G+ as well).
So if I'm insane, then the legal code is to blame, because I'm just going by what I am dictated to by the 'dear leaders' in Washington.

  50. Edward Hill says

    October 23, 2015 at 1:08 pm

+West Kagle As of this date you have nothing but accusations of misconduct and no real proof of any wrong doing .Hillary and her entire campaign thank you all for the free press time .It means that she can save her campaign money for advertising and spend that money on something else .8 to 10 hours a day of free press would have cost her billions but she is getting it for free thanks to stupid republicans .I thought that the republicans were the smart ones .Smh

  51. West Kagle says

    October 23, 2015 at 1:17 pm

    +Christopher Bartlett
Here……I figured I'd just look the code up any way. As it turns out. The withholding and/or destroying of governmental docs is a Felony. So I suppose we should give her a 'not as big a criminal as she could have been' award. Now if, and it's a big if, as madam body-bag is very good at covering her tracks (hence the reason why the stuff was kept on her private server in the first place, you know, private servers aren't subject to the freedom of information act), if it comes to light that anyone outside her office had access to these docs, well then that would be treason, as sharing state docs a case of espionage (and spies are shot, at least I think they are still shot…….or at least I hope). Here is the code:

Just forget it. It's like banging your head against the wall. I tried to point out that even if they were in charge of security for diplomats, the state department is responsible for deploying the amount of security in each detail (and Hillary was head of that office).
This is just karma. Hillary was a part of the witch hunt that lynched Nixon back in the 70s. They nailed him to the cross because of a gap in the audio recordings. Not that there was audio evidence of him implicating himself, just that part of the recording was erased. From that he had to resign. This pathological liar has been caught red handed in covering up the Embassy affair (even if she and Barry were not in the wrong, they engaged in a cover up).
…And lets not forget that she deleted a s**t ton of e-Mails from her personal server (the server which she used for official state department business). Doesn't that meet the burden of proof set forth by the Watergate kangaroo court (missing information)?

It no longer matters, those who could have exercised governmental oversight are so compromised that they could have direct video of Hillary Clinton drinking and saying screw those asshats in Bengazi, let 'em fry, and it would no longer matter. This is why there are ethical codes, so that those in charge of oversight cannot be tarnished with political motives. With their obviously partisan exercise, the Select Committee have lost any ability to be useful, whether or not Hillary is guilty of anything. She schooled them. She humiliated them.
And haven't we been hearing, 'oh just wait, they'll get her soon for three years now? Reminds me of those folk saying the world was going to end last Wednesday, or maybe it was this Wednesday, or maybe November 13th. If it happens, it happens, but don't put religious-level faith in it; the Republicans have been going after Clintons for 22 years and failed to land any significant glove on them. Now either they are epic level incompetent, or the Clintons are actually not guilty of everything of which they are accused.

  74. Edward Hill says

    October 24, 2015 at 11:57 am

Don't do that. Doing nothing is worse than blindly supporting a despotic candidate. If you sit home it's almost as good in the eyes of these elitist reprobates as a vote in their favor. You know the saying, 'The only thing needed for evil to triumph, is for good men to do nothing'.
Do at least what I do when there is nothing but a bad choice and a worse choice. Cast a write in vote. I suggest Mickey Mouse. Maybe if enough people are pissed off and vote that way, and Mickey Mouse actually wins, then maybe these feckless fascists might sit up and take notice (not least of all because they now have to have a second election (as Mickey Mouse can't actually serve)
…..Maybe we need to do like they did in that movie 'Brewster's Millions', where Richard Pryor's character encouraged everyone to vote for 'none of the above' (which ended up winning). I think I'm going to see if I can start a political campaign to elect 'none of the above'. Let's see If I can get some support from all the stepped on Americans out there.

+Ole Olson When we have ambassadors in a hostile country it seems they should have protection 100% of the time not intermittently, or upon request. Somebody IS responsible for their security… right?? Those people should be questioned… Is the SOS directly responsible or not????? If this is just a show then lets stop wasting tax payer money. She is acting weird tho… LOL this is a very high price comedy show….

Seems there are plenty of units or divisions of security, presumably with overlapping and back-up protection. Question is, why did they have no security or just minimum in that environment? I understand there were requests for more security weeks prior to the event. If so, there should not be a debate, or a congressional circus to possibly locate someone to reprimand. Doesn’t this seem like a show… like; yes we are to blame but we really can’t punish anybody, so lets make it look like we are really doing something about this?

+Randy Robinson There is a lot of that. But think about this for a moment… all of this could have been avoided if HRC just followed the normal protocol of having her email on the gov't server. Pretty much done and done.

If Her department is at fault, then isn't she ultimately to blame? When you're at the top you are suppose to be responsible for the actions of all those under you. That's why you might want to have competent people working under you instead of cronies. Like Truman's famous sign that he put on the desk in the Oval Office…..'The Buck Stops Here'.
If this is the case, then this isn't a show, and she needs to take the heat, and be a real leader and own the blame. However, there is now way she can now, as she's played the innocent persecuted victim all this time. It would just make her a liar as well as incompetent (although I don't see what difference it would make, we already know that she's both)..

See that was the point of not using the government server. No paper trail (for stuff like this and other more nefarious things). Private servers aren't subject to the freedom of information act (and by the time she does get around to 'cooperating' for the sake of 'transparency', that server had been sanitized of any damaging items).

Controversy has followed Mrs Bill for a long long time. Or should I say its stuck to her, since the 80s, and I'm not inferring anything here, but all sorts of people were dropping dead all around. Maybe its coincidental that she sees dead people.

I'd like to get Vince Foster's point of view. Oh wait.. I can't.. he's dead!
