Good luck on having a successful second annual ice bucket challenge.
Bush sure wasn't a prize………
……..so it says a lot about the fellow in there now that I do miss Bush (I actually miss Carter, compared to Barry). ¬_¬
Carter was a crap President… but he's done so many awesome things since then. I find it… odd… you'd take Bush over Obama though. Don't get me wrong… I have things I can complain about Obama. But compared to Bush?!?!
+Paul Spoerry
I give Carter a pass on almost all of his pitiful Presidency based solely on his work with Habitat For Humanity. The other stuff, perhaps the overseeing of elections is worthy, but I've heard that it didn't have as much of an impact as it was hoped for. Plus it's not like we stayed the course. Like everything else, we think that doing the minimum once is enough to turn everything around permanently.
As for Bush over Barry, I'll take the guy who doesn't consistently throw us under the bus.
thats for not getting me that beer w
Bush > Obama
How many new unnecessary wars are we in and how many financial meltdowns have we had? Yeah.
too bad he didn't drown
Bush was a Liberal Republican. He routinely flipped-off Conservatives on their key issues and hugged-up on Social Liberal wants.
Yet Net Democrats still speak of George as an evil something. They say things and portray him in ways that, when the same is done to Obama, brings accusations of "racism!"
So tired of Dems, progressives, etc. They are the meatheads of America.
so now bush was not radical enough for republicans?he single- handedly turned America into a socialist state with him as its new czar…..that not radical enough?
Not to mention he obliterated the surplus economy established by Bill Clinton.
Should be oil and blood
He also said he was "misunderestimated" and he did wave to blind singer Stevie Wonder.
+Larry Olson Nelson Rockefeller, was a liberal Republican. George Romney, was a liberal Republican. George W. Bush, by contrast, is not. By teatard standards, anyone who doesn't think as they do are liberals.
Hatred of Obama, is based upon a paranoid belief of what he might do, what he's thinking of doing or what he will do. Hatred of Bush, is based upon things that he ACTUALLY DONE. Tanking the economy, dragging us into war under false pretenses, torturing prisoners, threatening civil liberties. It really didn't matter what Bush was thinking of; he wasn't.
+Malcolm Lewis
Oh look, someone using the word 'teatard' and thinking that they still retain any credibility. ¬_¬
BTW……..why don't you come out and say what you really want to say. That hatred of Barry is based on his race.
Yes…Obama far worse than bush. Obama has lied since 2008 and has broken damn near every promise he ever made. Although bush came off as dumb he was far more likeable and seemed genuine. For years now Obama talks and all you do is here lies, rhetoric, and bullshit. Only GW could pull off landing on an aircraft carrier and look good doing it? This guy..not so much. But that's meaningless, bush received congressional approval for Iraq and Afghanistan ( wrong or right) Barry took off after Libya and didn't even consult congress, then when it started to go bad he pulled his get out if jail card and finally approving the take down of bin laden. Only after 16 months of intelligence confirming his location. Yeah, thus guys a weasel
+Malcolm Lewis Young feller, you disqualify yourself from judging character, and much of anything involving society and politics, when you call these people "teatards". The Tea Party is styled after the Bostonian's tax protest that began the Revolution. Whether you admit it or not, you are, essentially, putting yourself in the position of the British colonialist masters. Talking personal trash and assigning names to those who refuse the demands of corrupt government.
That's who they are. Grassroots protesters, the real thing, good people. You don't know them, you just know they aren't Obama fans.
Bush was not a delight, he was a tin-eared dumbass in a number of ways. A liberal richkid whose family business is the Republican Party. Just as Conservative John Kennedy's family business was the Democratic Party.
But Bush doesn't make a man of Obama's extraordinarily low character a good guy. Obama is a disaster, fomented by those who put race ahead of everything. For different reasons, they are two of the worst Presidents in US history, elected one after the other. That is the electorate's misfortune. But Obama's fans look like bona fide dumbasses at this time, so you might want to reevaluate.
obama wouldn't do it, the scumbag.
+Larry Olson I am well aware of what the Tea Party initially stood for. The Tea Party, started out as a middle-class movement that reacted spontaneously against alarming trends : wages were stagnant; jobs were disappearing; Wall Street received trillions. However, the Tea Party, has been co-opted by the radical right.
The post-radical right Tea Party believe in:
1. Loving America, but hating Americans;
2. Ideological purity;
3. Intolerance of dissent;
4. Tribal mentality;
5. Severe xenophobia;
6. Scriptural literalism;
7. Unmoved by facts;
8. Denying science;
9. Hostility towards change and innovation;
10. Controlling women's bodies;
11. Hatred towards education;
12. A pathological hatred of the American government.
By the way, the Boston Tea Party, for your information, was a defiant, in-your-face example of gesture politics aimed directly towards a government that we WEREN'T even allowed to participate in. By contrast, the teatards have VOTING REPRESENTATION. So in point of fact, your argument falls flat.
+Malcolm Lewis Well, I have attended a number of TP meets, and we are nothing like that. I've never even met one like that. When it comes to the Tea Party, you are a name-calling know-nothing, Malcolm.
+Larry Olson
A lot of what's on Mr. Lewis' list sounds like characteristics of Barry.
A Bucket of cow manure for bush and dick
Bush wasn't a Conservative, but he is certainly more of a man, and a more honorable man than the Obama Cartel.
didn't see any ice there, nor courage or brains. pathetic clown trick by a man who is not funny. chb
+Jay Carlson Where is the honor in invading and attacking a nation that DIDN'T even attack us on 9/11?
+Malcolm Lewis I get it. You deny the whole Al Qaeda/Iraq connection. well you're wrong.
+Malcolm Lewis
You guys seem to forget that Saddam Hussein was removed from power because he was failing to comply with the UN directives. Not because he was responsible for 9/11. Those directives were the only conditions that ended the Gulf War and allowed him to stay in power.
+Jay Carlson Get you head out of Faux News. The 9/11 terrorists were ALL from Saudi Arabia-our ally (wink, wink). Like it or not, that war was being waged by a moronic simpleton who was unable to tell Arabs apart.
+Malcolm Lewis
"The 9/11 terrorists were ALL from Saudi Arabia….."
Saudis who had their camps in Afghanistan. Which is why we went into that country. The government in power there (The Taliban) were not going to do anything about them (as a matter of fact they were harboring them), so we had to.
So there is your answer for the war in Afghanistan, and my previous comment covered the reason for the Iraq War (which wasn't about 9/11). ¬_¬
+Malcolm Lewis Here, let me fix that for you. FOX News. Here's a clues. Faux isn't pronounced FOX. (wink, wink)
Doesn't matter that they were from Saudi Arabia. Al Qaeda doesn't know borders.
