Microsoft built a fun tool that guesses your age

Wow so http://how-old.net/ guesses your age based on a photo today at Microsoft BUILD. It was was built to demo the capabilities of Azure, Microsoft's Cloud Computing Platform & Services. All you need to do is upload a photo and the tool will analyze your face to guess your age.

Every photo I've uploaded has been SPOT-ON. Seriously… it's been wickedly accurate. I don't know what voodoo they're using but it's wicked cool. To be sure it wasn't just picking up pictures of me from around the web and doing some magic around that I uploaded shot up some pics of my gal and of my kid; all pics I know aren't on the interwebs and it nailed them with precision too.

I just tried several different photos doing a variety of poses and facial expressions; it gave me a range from late-20s to mid-70s.

I got 27 (31 on the day of that photo) 28 (I was 28 in that photo) on another. Another said 30 (I was 30), and I did one for my youngest and it said 5 (she was 6 but looks younger in all other aspects so it works).

If the gov't asked for your pic for their files, would you give it to them? Microsoft sells their info!

+John Robinson I have a Driver's License. The government has my picture.

Hell, I publicly post a selfie every day – the NSA probably has a whole gallery of my face.
