Damn straight. Hey, but Jesus was a hippie-pussy to the teabag crowd.

Who's this Jesus person???
One might ask how many people are allowed to gather together though. I suspect this is aimed more at the attitudes some of the very large churches have (I'm sorry, you think you need a fleet of personal jets why?)
I am sure its in the same invisible bits of the Bible that let people be rich while simultaneously support Ayn Rand crap and claiming to be Christian.

OK…….maybe it was just me, but I have to ask……..was that a complete thought, or was there stuff missing, because I'm not sure what you're saying here.
+West Kagle Pretty simply really, I am pointing out the hypocrisy of a lot of people that claim to follow a faith. They will selective ignore what their religious text says when its inconvenient or doesn't fit what they are used too.
I admit I was referencing a few things at once so it might not have been clear though.

Yeah, I got ya. We've all done the 'tried to get all the thoughts out at once' thing. I also think that what you described isn't unique to the religious arena. People will often selectively turn on and off their principles, values and ideals because they're in the way at the moment. It's being hypocritical, and it's a sign of a truly disciplined individual who can avoided falling prey to it.
