See if your Gmail contacts are on Ashley Madison

August 25, 2015 by Paul Spoerry 8 Comments

Click the ‘Get Gmail Contacts’ button to load your Gmail contacts …
After your contacts have loaded click the Search’em button to see if any of your contacts show up in the Ashley Madison hack (via https://haveibeenpwned.com/). Search’em. 0 found. All Content Copyright PaulSpoerry | Powered & Designed by EnhancE.

Just a little something I whipped up. VERY basic and rough around the edges but you can load your Gmail contacts and see if they show up in the data dump.

I do not store any of your info. You authenticate yourself with Google, your contacts are retrieved and stored by your browser, and then your browser calls the haveibeenpwned.com API to search contacts. It's all handled within your browser.

You know the parent company is offering 500k for info on the hackers! I wouldn't give them up if I knew!

Totally. As someone who had a spouse that had multiple affairs I find this site and what they promote disgusting. I'm not even saying married people have to be sexually exclusive (though I always have been); they just need to not lie and hide.

Meh, I'm not at all about the high horse ethics and what not…everybody heeds to do whatever they please as long as they live with the consequences.
Only a bit disappointed no one in my contacts are in there; would have been fun to confront them :DD

Living with the consequences would mean owning up to whatever is lacking in your current relationship and either opening the relationship, altering it, or ending it. Not facing the consequences is sort of the point of this site. ;O)

    Hey now +Bearman Cartoons! LOL.

Somebody just suggested I integrate LinkedIn too. Facebook would be more interesting I think but they're dicks about their API, you can't query for emails of your OWN contacts.
