After Cruz's campaign launch speech (which was widely mocked by the Liberty University students who were forced to attend), he put up a website for donations. And that website didn't default to HTTPS and also listed nigerian-prince.com as an alternate domain on the security certificate. lulz

Larry Maxwell says
conservative websites have more security dangers than free porno sites.
Travis Owens says
This can't even be real, what's going on here?
Paul Spoerry says
They were using CloudFlare and likely using the Free SSL or Flexible SSL option… so instead of going through the process of securing their own SSL certificate from a cert authority and applying it to their server they just used CloudFlare.

Paul Spoerry says
It appears they're now using RapidSSL… Isn't RapidSSL simply domain validation? I find it… incredible… that someone who just announced they are running for President wouldn't throw down on a EV certificate.
Todd Scott says
That is incredible, you would think they would. That is just not smart.
Rob Kennedy says
It's cloudflare. There's no way to control what certs they'll hook you up with.
Paul Spoerry says
Exactly… again…. if you are running for President wouldn't throw down on a EV certificate. Then again, Cruz doesn't even seem remotely intelligent, so why would his IT guys be?!
West Kagle says
Cruz is a hot air stuffed shirt.
……please, don't have that be the Republican choice. Then I'd have to vote for a moron just to vote against a psychopath (I'm looking at you Hillary).
