Generals see laser pods, software-configurable bombs, and “operational cyber” in near future.

OK I'll believe them when I see it cough F-35 cough in action but still pretty cool that generals see laser pods, software-configurable bombs, and "operational cyber" in near future. I know lasers sound all StarWars and shit but that last one… operational cyber… sounds freaky scary.

Apparently the Air Force has conducted tests "where we asked the question, what if we—instead of jamming a target—put a tool on an aircraft that allowed us to touch a target with cyber? And yes, we can touch a target from an air-enabled network." holy crap!
