Who fails EFF’s annual data privacy test? Hint: WhatsApp

The Electronic Freedom Foundation’s (EEF) annual ‘Who’s Got Your Back?’ report, which looks at privacy concerns and government requests for data, was just released. WhatsApp is the only service to receive a 1-star rating and they were only given that because of Facebook’s publicly stated policy opposing the inclusion of backdoors that can be exploited by government agencies.
