Edward Snowden Twitter comment on FBI's decision not to recommend prosecution for Hillary Clinton

July 7, 2016 by Paul Spoerry 5 Comments

This isn’t the first time he's weighed in on Clinton. In June, he expressed confusion over why she wasn’t facing the same fate as him.

But… maybe I'm weird but my first reaction wasn't the same as what I was seeing on the rest of the interwebs. I saw it and immediately thought, "SWEET. So now we have legal justification to bring Snowden home and protect him via the Whistleblower Protection Act of 1989?!?!"

Share information with colleagues authorized to receive it, doing your job. Share classified material with a journalist, run away to escape the consequences of breaking federal law.

He didn't do it for public benefit. Also, he doesn't need to stay in exile. He can come back any time he likes.

+George Rapko Oh really? Then why did he try to raise concerns to multiple people prior to ever doing what he did?
