But… maybe I'm weird but my first reaction wasn't the same as what I was seeing on the rest of the interwebs. I saw it and immediately thought, "SWEET. So now we have legal justification to bring Snowden home and protect him via the Whistleblower Protection Act of 1989?!?!"

He didn't do it for public benefit. Also, he doesn't need to stay in exile. He can come back any time he likes.
