Facebook rolling out ability to add background color to your post

Spice up your Facebook timeline with colored backgrounds
It’s like Geocities all over again.

Because MySpace was soooo awesome in that regard.

Right now it's only available on Android, but anyone on Facebook should be able to see those stylized posts. It's rolling out to the world starting this week.

To use it just start writing. You'll immediately see a color palette option below. Tap your favorite hue and, voila, your Facebook post will be bathed in color.
