Dispatches From Twitter, by Donald Trump, Including One on Flag Burning
The president-elect, still trying to choose among a number of possibilities to be his secretary of state, won’t pull back on his habit of overnight and morning Twitter posts.
Trump tweeted that if someone burns the US flag "there must be consequences — perhaps loss of citizenship or year in jail!" – despite clear precedent by the Supreme Court that it's protected by the First Amendment.
And then… "The man who will lead the free world could not stop attacking CNN." Unreal.
OLÁ MORO NO BRASIL,COMO POSSO SER MODERADOR DA SUA PAGINA NO FACEBOOK ?
Go to YouTube. Type "flag retirement" in the search bar. There you will find many videos of flag burning by boy scouts.
It's the dissent they object to; not the flag burning.
I think that dissent is the point; and it is protected as free speech.
