Why is it just plan tap water just like all the other waters
Paul Spoerry says
According to their website SmartWater is procured from “municipal water systems.” AKA… tap water.

Ronny Terhuerne says
In Germany it gets even weirder.
Tap Water is highly regulated and has to adhere to very strict standards.
Bottled water on the other hand isn't under such rules.
Every test they did in the last decades all concluded, that many bottled waters were by factors not as good as tap water all around the country.
What do people do though? They still buy that shit…
Gary Cameron says
$4 a bottle and it doesn't even have a grape in it.
Gopindra Hannigan says
+Ronny Terhuerne the situation is much the same in the USA.

I confess, I buy it. Usually when traveling. It's quite convenient. I like the taste of Smartwater plus, while my town's water in award winning, I never know I'm gonna get on the road.
Paul Spoerry says
I've heard others say they like the "flavor" as well. I usually carry a water bottle with me but if I don't and want one for the road it's cool. That said, we're wasting so much plastic one what's essentially bottled tap. It's the people who buy it for their house that kill me. Get a damn Britta… it'll save you money and the environment.

+Paul Spoerry Agreed.
