J.K. Rowling shuts down troll by quoting rapper Chamillionaire

February 18, 2016 by Paul Spoerry 8 Comments

J.K. Rowling quoting rapper Chamillionaire is shut down perfection
JK Rowling shut down a Twitter troll with the best response yet, even for her.

Twitter could go away for all I care… except that we'd lose all the pure gold that J.K. Rowling tweets.

Scottish politician Natalie McGarry and a writer called Kevin Williamson brought her up in a Tweet convo and Williamson replied with "Why apologise to her. She uses her obscene wealth & lawyer droids to threaten & bully. Tell the radge to bolt."

Rowling jumps in and drops this gold:
They see me Rowlin'
They hatin'

Good on her. Internet trolls are the excrement of the internet.

I don't claim to know the story between these two (twitter is just another vile social media site I'm not on, along with Façadebook and tumbler), but how is this, 'I know what you are but what am I' type of rebuttal, a 'bad a$$ shut-down of a troll'?
I like Rowling (at least I enjoy her work, I don't really know her personal behaviors), but this isn't anything special. It's just a grade schooler kind of come back.

Well, you have to read the article to understand. It wasn't her fight… THEY were fighting and attempted to drag her in and through the mud of their online brawl. Hence her hilarious use of pop culture to shut them down not behind childlike but badass.

OK, I get it. She wasn't rebutting anything. Just happened to spot children fighting, and dropped in to lay a whoppin' on they a$$. 😛
