I'll admit that while I always thought it cool it never really worked for me. Then my fiance started using it and I finally gave in and was blown away at how well it works on Android. This study used Baidu’s Deep Speech 2 system so if using Cortana, Siri, or Google Now YWMV. It's still promising for the future of speech recognition when it's not only 3x's faster than typing but also showed 20.4% lower error rates (on an iPhone keyboard at least).
