Using a Fitbit as a Silent Alarm Clock
How to wake up without disturbing your partner

Ok I don't know that it's the BEST use… or that the persons reasons here apply to me. However, I do make extensive use of Fitbit alarms on my Surge (I wish they'd let me LABEL them though) and have to agree that, unless you suck as sleeping like me or a very heavy sleeper, that a Fitbit alarm is a great way to skip the regular alarm clock.
