Despite what Ken Ham may have you believe, the word secularism cannot be used interchangeably with atheism. Secularism is the only way that respectful people, religious or not, can live together without political or religious divisions. Schools, politicians and parents should not favour any one belief system over another if they wish to offer their children an intellectually fair upbringing, and whilst any parent should have the right to teach their religion to their children, it is a vast injustice for them to imply that it is an unfalsifiable truth and that all other speculations are just that.
