In Travis County custody case, jury will search for real Alex Jones
Beginning Monday, a jury will be selected that will be asked to sort out whether there is a difference the public and private Alex Jones.

Jones is the alt-right radio show host, filmmaker, writer, guy who claimed Trump gave him White House press credentials, and all around whackadoo conspiracy theorist runs InfoWars. The defense his lawyers present for his upcoming custody case is that, “He’s playing a character, he is a performance artist.”

"At a recent pretrial hearing, attorney Randall Wilhite told state District Judge Orlinda Naranjo that using his client Alex Jones’ on-air Infowars persona to evaluate Alex Jones as a father would be like judging Jack Nicholson in a custody dispute based on his performance as the Joker in “Batman.”"

Except that's not at all the same thing. Nicholson never claims he IS the Joker. Frighteningly, Trump appeared via Skype on Jones’ show and said, “Your reputation is amazing. I will not let you down.”

The bottom line… he's either a fake on his show… or a fake in court. I'll put my money on the former.
