Alexa is getting updated to have more useful reminders

Alexa can remind you to pick up the dry-cleaning
Amazon has started rolling out reminders and named timers for Alexa in the US.

Now… they just need to free those reminders from their abysmal mobile app. Don't get me wrong… I have three Echo's and love being able to walk into my bedroom and say, "Alexa, bedroom lights on." and watch the lights enable. But for reminders… it needs better integration with my default calendar (Google), or my default task app (Wunderlist), etc. Amazon has built a really great home unit but their mobile app stinks. And yes… I realize they want to lock you into their app but if they're going to do that then they need to make the app a pleasure to use.
