Assange already backpedals on extradition promise

January 18, 2017 by Paul Spoerry 2 Comments

Assange lawyer: Manning commutation doesn’t meet extradition offer’s conditions

Via his attorney, "Mr. Assange welcomes the announcement that Ms. Manning's sentence will be reduced and she will be released in May, but this is well short of what he sought.”

So his loophole/excuse is that they are doing it but just not as fast as he wanted? It's really sad. We NEED things like Wikileaks (or at least how it was) in the world but he continues to cause credibility problems.

It's certainly a paradox. A site with the capability to expose wrongdoing across the globe. Run by someone with very questionable motives. I think he would love to see the world burn. At least certain countries. Which makes anything They released suspect. Yes it's information, but there may be contradictory information that WikiLeaks isn't releasing.

I agree. And in the past they were more discerning with what they released (like removing personal info) that they aren't doing recently.
