Bitcoin is worth twice as much as gold

Holy cryptocurrencies batman! One ounce of gold: $1,290.60. One Bitcoin: $2,629.00… it's value has increased 338.73% this year. Ethereum (IMO the more interesting of the two) has increased 1634.24% this year.

    how do we know currency in general a farce? Because people can just make shit up and it works.

    where it came from is also a part of that. Did not say it was perceptually worthless as a result. Remember for a time 'doge coin' carried value..

    Dodgecoin is still valuable. It has a market cap of $393,474,372. How valuable it is to you depends on when you purchased or mined it…. just like ANY cryptocurrency.
