Someone Dubbed Over “Revenge of the Sith” Using a Bootleg DVD’s Subtitles
“Do not want!” actually works even better than “NOOOO!!”
Last year, YouTuber GratefulDeadpool uploaded a dubbed Chinese bootleg of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, based on a machine’s poorly translated English subtitles from the bootleg’s Mandarin. It’s said to have been made over a decade ago, but thanks to YouTube, Star Wars The Third Gathers: Backstroke of the West is now starting to make wider rounds…and for good reason.
Seriously… this thing is epic. It's like a mashup of Mandarin to English mistranslation + Mel Brooks when the insane subtitles are read aloud. DOWNLOAD BEFORE DISNEY (/Lucas) issues takedowns because The Force is strong with this one.
That's hilarious. I'm going to have to watch the whole thing now.
