Google just announced YouTube TV. At a cost of $35/month you can access live and recorded content on 40 networks including CBS, Fox, NBC CBS, USA, FX, a bunch of sports programming (and you can add ShowTime for an extra fee). Local networks for your area, up to six users, AND unlimited cloud DVR storage will be included so you can add any TV series or sports broadcast to your favorites and it'll save all of them for you.
Steve Vance says
What they should do is sweeten the deal with a free chromecast with 3 month sign up.
Gary Parks says
I'll give it a shot. Can't stand being under the oppression of Spectrum/TW.
Paul Spoerry says
We don't have cable. Haven't for… oh man 5+ years at this point. We use a combo of Netflix, Hulu, seedbox, Plex, etc. I'll be game for this IF there are no ads – or if they are at least very minimal like the Hulu pre/post ads. Otherwise I'll continue with my current setup.
Steve Vance says
It sounds like there will be ads but you'll be able to skip over them like any other dvr.
