Google Recalls Staff to U.S. After Trump Immigration Order
Alphabet Inc.’s Google delivered a sharp message to staff traveling overseas who may be impacted by a new executive order on immigration from President Donald Trump: Get back to the U.S. now.

Sundar Pichai told employees to return to the US for fear they wouldn't be allowed back. The Department of Homeland Security issued a directive on Friday afternoon ordering the Customs and Border Control agency to enforce the order. Late Friday, some green card and visa holders were already being blocked from boarding flights to the U.S.

Also… Can we please call it what it is: a Muslim ban. The order specifically directs the US to prioritize “religious minorities” for the US refugee quota. When you do that… and only list majority-Muslim nations in your immigrants and visa holder ban… that's a pretty direct message. Never mind the fact that… how can you tell a person's faith? Ask them? What if they just converted? What if they are an atheist?
