GOP only want to investigate how information about Flynn leaked, not Flynn

Chairman: House intel panel won’t investigate Flynn, will probe leaks

Are you fucking shitting me right now?!

Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) wants an investigation into…. drum roll…. the leaks that led to Flynn's removal. Nothing concerning his discussions with Russia about US sanctions before Trump took office, but the LEAKS that exposed Flynn had done so.

GOP colleagues in the House have sided with him, and argue that an investigation into Flynn's behavior is excessive and unnecessary.

That only makes me (and probably everyone) wonder who else in the GOP is talking to the Russians and don't want THEIR secrets leaked.

When I read "excessive and unnecessary" three words came to mind: Benghazi, Benghazi, Benghazi. While appropriate for them to look into it, the fact it was drawn out for so long, repeatedly, with nothing to show was ridiculous. Contrast that with not even wanting to consider or look into this matter.

I just keep saying let them openly show how incompetent they are and how against the current US they are. This will prove one of two things, that the American people will turn on the Republicans for their failure to steer clear of such national security issues or they will side with them and prove how much they want the Confederacy times to come back.

Yeah, don't want the public to know the crooked shit that goes on behind the curtain.

The House is pursuing what matters.

"A leak exposed ties to Russia."

"We need to find out how that leaked."

"… but… what if it WHAT leaked was our nuclear launch codes and how to remotely utilize them? What if it exposed information crucial to our allies? What if… " <gets cut off>

"Nevermind that… we need to find out how it leaked and that's all we need to find out."
