Princess Leia Is Everyone’s Favorite, and Other Star Wars Statistics
Forty-nine percent of U.S. adults said they plan to see the latest Star Wars movie, with 32 percent saying they intend to see it in theaters.
I feel like this is a true representation of why things are the way they are right now in the US. A December poll from Morning Consult asked 2,200 folks about their opinions on Star Wars movies, then cross-tabulated that with their demographics and political preferences.
The favorites are who you'd expect. The Least favorite… NOT Jar Jar Binks. I know… I was surprised as well. Jar Jar is a relatively respectable 37% favorability, just below Rey and just above Samuel L Jackson's Mace Windu. Snoke it the lowest.
What's most curious is WHICH demographic and political preference pulled Jar Jar's favorability up… and it explains sooooooo much. GOP-voting men like Jar Jar Binks more than any other demographic does. Yup. Explains so much.

As was my late wife Carole (9/01/2007) who laid dead on the floor when I returned from shopping. A vile of Tofranil (150 – 50 mgs) missing from the throw-out draw and assume digested when I was shopping. The country is driving around high on some kind of mood-changing–drug; running from reality, that might make them normal, in all respects. We all go around once but some make a wrong turn and hurt the people who love them. I hope my next life is not in this terrible world we live in. (quote – JFK) the likely killer of Marilyn Monroe!
