Comedian and actor Matt Lucas takes on the persona of natural history doyen Armstrong Wedgewood to give a unique twist to the story of our planet.

Round Planet is Planet Earth re-dubbed with sarcastic and irreverent narration. Like Monty Python does nature documentary. It's hilarious and awesome.

BBC Earth Productions has been let loose amongst the BBC's crown jewels, its treasure trove natural history archive, to retell our planet’s greatest stories in a fresh and irreverent new way, combining mind-blowing fact with genre bending comedy.
