Samsung’s Chromebook Plus brings a stylus and Android apps
Samsung has been making Chromebooks ever since it introduced the first one way back in 2011, but now it’s ready to up the ante a notch with its new Chomebook Plus and Pro. This time around, they can run any Android app from the Google Play store, and they’e also the first Chromebooks to come with …
Samsung just announced two new Chromebooks (ones just more powerful than the other) that are convertible, rock a stylus, and will run any Android app. Apparently, the stylus is like a larger version of the one used on the Note devices. I'm not sure I need a stylus… but I love my Chromebook and my Shield K1. If I could combine them I'd be in heaven. So far I can only find specs saying it will come with 32GB of storage; no mention of SD support. 32GB is fine for a Chromebook but I like to keep a shitton of stuff on my Android devices.

I love the idea and the progression of Chromebooks but I'm really not in love with Samsung right now.

Yeah I stopped using them… whenever the OnePlus One came out. Then jumped to a Nexus 5X and now on a Pixel XL. I hated their "UI customization" and bloat.
After I posted this I thought about editing it with a "You're move Acer!" since they've been crushing it on the Chromebook market for a while now. My fiance used an ACer for a while. We both have Dell's business Chromebooks now and they rock – even though it shows how Google needs to address higher dpi screens. Sometimes things are just a little TO small in the UI.

I just dropped my Nexus 6 and shattered the screen and had to turn in an ins claim, and of course they don't produce that phone anymore so I had to get the Note 5. I'm not happy about it. The bloat on there is astounding. Who do they thing they are, Windows?
Now I gotta wait till the unlocked Pixel XL comes back into stock.

Aw bummer +Matthew Reynolds. I have Fi so I'm not sure if this works if you don't… but sometimes the Google store would be out of stock but Fi would show it IN stock. Might be able to buy from there and not use Fi… or at least worth checking out. Their chat/phone/email customer support is FAN-FUCKING-TASTIC too (extra so given it's Google and… support is non-existent for most things).
For the Sammy you could always hit up xda and get a custom ROM. Prior to having a Nexus/Pixel I would already have a ROM picked out before I even bought a phone. They'd always want me to activate/setup in store or some bs and I'd be like, "you don't even know… I'm literally replacing your carrier bullshit the minute I get home."
