Net neutrality gaining steam in state legislatures after FCC repeal
Nebraska and California may challenge FCC’s attempt to preempt state laws.
Nebraska, California, New York, and Washington are proposing net neutrality laws (or are drafting them) to replace the US-wide ones repealed by the Federal Communications Commission. A national law would be better BUT… even only done at the state level it might dissuade companies from violating the spirit of net neutrality across their networks if they face strict rules in parts of the country (specifically if they have a large footprint there).
They want to control us. I am glad I am not in those states.
Is there any chance of the nationwide repeal of 'net neutrality' getting shot down by the senate?
