I hate the English system of measurement. I was part of the failed experiement of moving to metric in the US school system. As a result I started learning the English system, then switched to metric, and then back again to English. I can’t read an English ruler to save my life. In the metric system things make sense, are easy to add, divide, etc… WHY OH WHY have we not converted to it? The rest of the world has:

About 6 months ago I stopped drinking coffee. I did this mainly for the health benefits of green tea, but I soon fell in love with Oolong and black tea as well. I’ve been meaning to add a green tea section to this site for some time now to highlight the benefits of drinking tea over coffee, primarily in the area of caffeine consumption. Since I haven’t gotta around to that, I thought I’d share The Caffeine Database. I’ve seen this before, but this has been updated and now includes an AJAX caffeine calculator so you can figure out how much you’re drinking. Pretty handy!
