Google+ Sees 778% Increase in US Traffic on Launch Day

We have seen a number of statistics in the last few days on how well Google+ is doing since it’s official launch out of the so-called “field trial”. Today we got numbers from Hitwise, a digital marketing intelligence company, and they show just how successful the Google+ launch was. On Tuesday, the new social network opened its doors to the public, allowing anyone to create an account over the age of 17, instead of requiring an invite to join like they had for the first 3 months.
