One of the designers of the F-16 breaks down why the F-35 is a POS

My favorite quote when asked "So what is the point of this plane?" and he replies, "The point is to spend money. That is the mission of the airplane. It's for the US Congress to send money to Lockhead. That's the real mission of the airplane."

Along the way he he explains why it'll never succeed, the premise is dumb, that stealth is a myth (he actually calls it a "scam"), that designing for 3 military branches just increases the bureaucracy, etc. 

If you're at all interested in military fighters this is something cool to spend 10 mins on to start your #Tuesday .
