Who are you?

I’m Paul Spoerry (aka T1Pimp) and I’m a groovy cat who’s into computers, technology, Eastern Thought, and techno music. I’m a dedicated father who loves his son and step-son. I’m fascinated by ninjas, the Internet, and anybody who can balance objects on their nose for long periods of time. I live in the Saint Louis area. If you are a blast from the past I attended Fox High School, did a year at UMSL, then a few years at SouthEast Missouri. I’ve also done a few courses at Washington University.

What do you do?

I’m a code monkey. Yup… I sit in front of a computer ALLLL DAAAY LOOONG. Which is cool because if I wasn’t getting paid for it, I’d do it anyway. Gotta love doing a job you actually like. I do primarily web development in ASP.NET and Classic ASP. I’ve got mad SQL Server db skills (coding and admin), and also dabble in a little COM, PHP, SQL, VB, yadda yadda yadda. I currently work for IBM, but I’ve also worked for Genelco, NaviSys, and Wave Technologies. I studied Tae Kwon Do for twelve years when I was younger and I now study Citong Shaolin Kung Fu.

What is this site about?

Pretty much whatever I’m into. I mostly use it to capture things I see on the web that I want to remember, and that I think others might find interesting or useful.
